DC Curbed brings us news of a new conversion in Dupont Circle. Read the article below:
In the next month or so, construction will begin on the Patterson Mansion in Dupont Circle to convert it into an apartment building. Developer SB-Urban plans on building 90 fully furnished micro-unitswith leases as short as three months. For the first stage of construction, the length of P Street NW between 18th Street NW and Dupont Circle will be closed. The mansion sold in 2014 for $20 million, making it the year’s most expensive residential transaction in Washington, D.C. In 1972, the National Register of Historic Places added the mansion to their register. District Source reported that the non-historic addition at the rear of the building will be demolished. The mansion is located at 15 Dupont Circle NW and previously housed The Washington Club.
